This Privacy Policy explains how SEOlutions GmbH ("we," "us," "our") collects, uses and shares information when you visit gutterinstallationstlouis.com (the "Site"), contact us or request an estimate.

1. Information we collect

  • Information you give us: your name, phone number, email address, property address or ZIP code, the service you're interested in, and any project details you include in a form or email.
  • How you found the Site: your browser keeps the page you first landed on, the referring website and any campaign details in the link (such as UTM tags or a Google click ID) for the current session. If you send a request, these are sent with it. If you don't, they are not sent to us.
  • Automatically collected information: our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes technical data such as IP address, browser and device type and the pages requested in order to deliver the Site and keep it secure. We do not use analytics tools or advertising pixels.

2. How we use information

  • To respond to your request and pass it to an independent local gutter contractor.
  • To contact you by phone, text message or email about your request, including by automated means where you have given consent.
  • To check that your request was handled and deal with any problem with it.
  • To operate, secure and improve the Site.
  • To comply with law and enforce our terms.

3. How we share information

We share your information as described here:

  • Local contractors: We do not perform gutter work. All work requested through this Site is carried out by independent local gutter contractors we partner with. When you request an estimate, you authorize us to share your name, contact details, property address and project details with one or more of those contractors so they can contact you, inspect your property and give you a quote. Contractors may pay us a fee for each request we pass on. Some laws may treat this as a "sale" of personal information. We do not sell your information to anyone for unrelated purposes, and we ask contractors to use it only for your request. Once shared, the contractor handles your information under its own privacy practices. You can ask us to stop sharing your information using the contact details below.
  • Vendors: our provider Cloudflare processes information on our behalf (hosting, form processing and delivering requests to us by email).
  • Google Maps: if you accept maps or choose to show one, the map loads from Google, which receives your IP address and can set cookies under its own privacy policy.
  • Legal and safety: when required by law or to protect our rights, customers or others.
  • Business transfers: if this Site or business is sold, transferred or merged, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

4. Calls, texts and emails (consent)

By checking the consent box on our forms, you agree that Gutter Installation St. Louis and the independent local contractors we share your request with may contact you by call, text or email about your request, including with automated technology. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of texts or HELP for help. To stop contact from a contractor that already has your request, email us as well so we can pass that on. We share your mobile number only with contractors handling your request, not with anyone for unrelated marketing.

5. Cookies and analytics

Embedded Google Maps can set cookies, so maps only load if you accept them in our cookie banner or choose to show a map. You can change your choice at any time using Cookie Settings in the footer. Your choice is stored in your browser. We do not set our own cookies. Our fonts are hosted on the Site itself, so they do not send your information to Google. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Our Site does not currently respond to "Do Not Track" signals.

6. Data retention and security

We keep information as long as needed to respond to you, pass on your request, keep business records and meet legal obligations. We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards, but no system is completely secure.

7. Your choices and rights

You may ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you, by emailing requests@gutterinstallationstlouis.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable state privacy laws. Where EU data protection law applies to us, you can also restrict or object to processing, receive a copy of your data, withdraw your consent at any time (this does not affect anything already done) and complain to a data protection authority. We will respond as required by law.

8. Where your information is handled

We are based in Germany, and the contractors who receive your request are in the United States. Your information is therefore handled in both countries, which may have different data protection laws. Where EU data protection law applies to us, we rely on your consent and on the steps needed to respond to your request.

9. Children

The Site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

10. Third-party links

The Site may link to other websites (for example, maps or review sites). Their privacy practices are their own.

11. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date shows when it last changed.
